About Me
As a technology and design expert with over a decade of experience in user-centered design and development, I have conceptualized, developed, and delivered web and mobile applications for clients spanning multiple industries. I coach and lead cross-functional teams with hands-on skills and serve as a technical subject matter expert for clients, partners, stakeholders, and team members throughout client engagements.
I am deeply interested in understanding people in order to craft products that deliver the best experience for the intended user. I believe that designers and developers should work together closely, and that when properly coached, they can challenge each other and vastly improve their co-creation of world class products.

PAST CLIENTS
Process PRINCIPLES
Listen First.
Before anything else, let the client speak about their issues without interruption.
Ask questions without fear or embarrassment until you fully understand the problem.
Only then are you ready to start crafting a solution.
Get in Early.
The sooner that team members can be involved in the creative ideation process, the better the outcome.
Creative thinking and technical knowledge are both crucial to understanding what's possible.
Share what you know.
Align Yourself.
View the challenge from the perspective of the user.
Align stakeholders and team members around this perspective.
Set expectations for all parties early on, in writing.
Write then Edit.
Tell the story of what success feels like for the user.
Start with the ideal, and then edit based on current and near-term realities.
Limitations should be based only on those of the client and those of technology.
Share Often.
Constant communication is critical to success.
Ensure that daily stand-ups are not the only means of sharing information.
Opt for centralized text-based communication whenever possible.
Remain Flexible.
Change is expected. Agility is necessary.
Assess the past, and plan for the future, but do not ignore the present.
Celebrate wins. Learn from losses. Adapt. Listen.
